Mid-Autumn Day
Mid-Autumn Day is a traditional festival in China.Almost everyone likes to eat mooncakes on that day.Most families have a dinner together to celebrate the festival.A saying goes,"The moon in your hometown is almost always the brightest and roundest".Many people who live far away from homes want to go back to have a family reunion.How happy it is to enjoy the moon cakes while watching the full moon with your family members.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as the Moon Festival. It is a popular lunar harvest festival celebrated by Chinese. This festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar. The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the few most important holidays in China. Accompanying the celebration, there are additional cultural or regional customs, such as eating mooncakes, matchmaking, fire dragon dances and so on. The most popular custom is eating mooncakes. And it is my favorite custom. I like eating mooncakes. Most mooncakes consist of a thin, tender skin enveloping a sweet, dense filling, and may contain one or more whole salted egg yolks in its center to symbolize the full moon.
