the+比较级,the+比较级,表示“越……越……”.如：
The more we do for the people,happier we'll be．
我们为人民做得越多,就越幸福.

这是一个“the more …, the more …”的句型。需要注意的是：
a. more可以视作比较级形式。所以此句型也可写作：“the + 比较级…，the +比较级…”如 The busier my mother was, the happier she felt.
b. 这个句型还可引导不含比较级的句子。如 The more you speak to him, the ...
