1.Qualifications:
A foreigner who is invited to China on visit,study,lecture or business tour or for scientific,technical,and culture exchanges,short-term refresher course or job-training.
2.Formalities:
1) Handing over the originals of the valid passport and visa for examination
2) The original of the certificate of check-in in Shanghai (issued by the hotel or the police substation of the area where the lodging takes place)
3) Submitting the Foreigner Visa and Residence Permit Application From completely filled up and one recent 2-inch half-length,bareheaded and full-faced photograph.
3.Time Limit of handling:
With 5 working days,if Application documents are complete.If there is no temporary lodging proof,we need 6 working days.In special circumstances,it takes only 4 working days.
4.Fee standard:
For details,you can see the Visa Fee Standard of Reciprocal Countries and Non-Reciprocal Countries,the State Development and Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance.

申请F签证须知

一、申请F签证的对象：
应邀来中国访问、考察、讲学、经商、进行科技文化交流及短期进修、实习等活动的外国人。
二、申请F签证的材料：
1、 有效护照和签证；
2、 在京住宿登记证明；
3、 填写准确的《外国人签证、居留许可申请表》并加盖受聘或任职单位印章，贴一张浅蓝色背景近期2寸正面免冠照片；
4、 接待单位为申请人申请“F”签证致北京市公安局出入境管理处的公函；
5、 单位经年检的营业执照副本。
注：有关证明需提供复印件。
三、申请签证时限：
可以申请有效期6个月以内零次、一次、二次签证以及6个月或者一年多次入境有效签证，申请次数不限。但自入境之日起每次在华停留期连续累计最多不能超过1年。
四、办结时限：
申请资料齐全的，5个工作日办结（周六受理申请不计为工作日）。
五、受理申请时间：
周一至周六 8：30－16：30
六、受理申请地点：
东城区安定门东大街2号（二环路北小街桥东南侧）
乘公交车44路、13路、116路、117路、特2路在北小街豁口下车，乘地铁在雍和宫站下车。

A. Eligibility
Foreign citizens invited to china on official visit, survey, educator programmes, business, science& technology or cultural exchang programmes, short-term training, internship, etc.
B. Application Documents
1. Passport with current visa
2. Residence Registration Certificate for Beijng
3. Entry visa/Resident permit Application Form with employer’s company chop
4. A recent 2-inch photo with pale blue background
5. F Visa Application Letter in favour of applicant by hosting organization to Beijng Municipal Administration of Entry & Exit
6. Currently audited Business Licence Duplicate
C. Term of validity
A O/singe/double-entry visa with a validity teem under 6 moths or a 6/12-moth multi-entry visa can be granted with no limit to the numbers of application , subject to a maximum duration of 12 moths’ consecutive stay form date of entry.
D. Time for Approval
Approval upon submission of requisite documents will take 5workdays, which does not include Saturday when applications are collected.
