尊敬的胡锦涛主席及夫人,各位运动员、各位官员,尊敬的各位来宾,来自世界各地的残奥运动支持者们：
晚上好,欢迎你们!今晚,我们在此相聚,共同庆祝北京2008年残奥会隆重开幕.本届残奥会的规模空前,无论是运动员人数、参赛国家数量还是体育项目数量,都超过往届残奥会.
这是残奥运动史上的一座里程碑.我们为此感到欢欣鼓舞,我们的心也与今年上半年接连遭受自然灾害的数百万中国人民在一起.灾难没能阻挠中国,没能阻挠北京奥组委和刘淇主席继续筹办奥运会.北京奥运会精彩绝伦,相信北京残奥会也一定会圆满成功.
